ROCK AND GEM MATERIAL  

We have just recently added our Rock section for you to check out!

Since we do not operate or have the staff to properly run a retail rock shop the larger quantity boxes

that we offer below are more manageable.

 We understand that 50 to 70 pound purchases are a difficult purchase for folks in the current economy.

   We have been selling a few boxes of material to our equipment customers.

Please ask for a 15 percent discount on our gem material if you have purchased equipment from

CigarBoxRock in the past!

Current shipping rates are way lower than they have been in at least a year.

Trucking fuel prices are down and all the

 carriers from FEDEX to Freightquote.com are quoting our customers some unbelievable rates.

I can help you with long haul equipment quotes!

And for smaller 70 lb or under shipments FEDEX rates are hard to beat all of a sudden!

 I have some cost savings tips to use with them call me.

It is our mission to continue to do quality renewal of  fine Vintage lapidary equipment.

We do not want to start a retail rock shop.  With that said we have acquired the inventory of a mid 1960s

Bend Oregon rock dealer.  We will be placing the saws and equipment on our on deck page and liquidating the rough

Rock and Gem material.  Since the mid sixties much of this material was stored in old wooden ammo boxes.

 If you have a saw on order and are considering a rock purchase we can secure a box

or two under your saw on top of saw pallet. 

Several of the old ammo boxes of gem material we recovered were rotted out, the ones currently shown are sound

They measure 34.5 inches in length, 11.5 inches deep and 8.5 inches tall. The old boxes themselves weigh 16 pounds.

The Gem Material listed weight noted below does NOT include the weight of the box.

 If you come to visit us and purchase one of the boxes of material we have listed there will be no charge for the box.

When shipped if you want the old box we will charge $15.00 for the old box plus the actual shipping FEDEX  rate.

OR

 Three medium flat rate boxes will handle the material in the boxes

and may be the cheapest way to ship your gem material.
